Blue Iris, Iris versicolor, has an attractive deep blue to purple, rarely white flower in early summer. It is native to New England and was widely used medicinally by Native Americans externally on burns, wounds, swellings and sores. Clumps spread slowly by tough, creeping rhizomes. Excellent for naturalizing around ponds, lakeshores, or any low wet areas. Very attractive to hummingbirds. Full to partial sun, medium to moist soils, deer resistant.

2 quart potted plant.
