Nannyberry, Viburnam lentago, favors rich, moist sites, but is adaptable. Small, white, fragrant flowers. Fruit is light in color, and turns black in the fall. Fruit is persistent throughout winter. Good for difficult sites and hedges. A favorite winter food for ruffed grouse, bobwhite, pheasant, and many others. Up to 20ft tall. Hardy to Zone 3. 12-18" potted.
