Jeanette or Ralls Janet
Late Fall. An early American apple grown by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello. Also known as "Ralls Janet", fruit is medium to large with thin greenish-yellow skin covered with pinkish red and overlaid with dark red striping. Can be eaten fresh and is a very good keeper.
